Olivet Prayer:
Surgery:
Elizabeth Cauldwell will be having surgery on Feb.20, she is very nervous but had been waiting a long time for this. Please pray for the peace of the Holy Spirit to be on her and that the Lord will guide the surgeons hands.
Also Sy Cauldwell’s son Chris, whom Sy has asked for prayer a few times is dying of cancer. This is very hard on Sy and Elizabeth so let’s lift them up in prayer for comfort in this hard time. But most importantly pray for Chris to come to know the Lord. Come on brothers and sisters let’s pray for Chris, let us petition the Lord lets not stop until we hear he is saved. Pray that the Lord will put great and mighty people in Chris’s life to witness to him and that Chris heart will be softened to the Word of the Lord.
Father, help Chris to see his need for a Savior, to know he must confess his sins, repent and believe–should he not perish. Help him to choose Your mercy and Your gift of faith, to believe with his heart and confess with his mouth, that Jesus is Lord. We ask in Your will, that not any should perish. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Wendy : (Cindy Locke sister)
Wendy has had a 7 day – 24 hour round of chemo which ended Friday and now this Friday she will have another bone marrow test to see if it is working. I will be getting a blood test tomorrow to see if I am a match for a bone marrow transplant if needed. I have taken Wendy’s two girls into my home to look after. Thanks Cindy
Please church pray for strength and peace through this time, pray and keep on praying for a healing for Wendy. Our God is a big God and we know he can do all things, Let us petition Him now for Cindy and Wendy and their families.
Psalms 145:17-18 The Lord is righteous in all His ways and loving toward all He has made. The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.
Chelsea:
The pain in Chelsea’s good leg has lessened, (although she is still relying mostly on the wheelchair) and the physiotherapist said the pain is most likely the result of the added strain placed on it. Praise the Lord!
Thank you for praying,
Joan Trachuk
FLU:
Just a reminder that a lot of people are catching the flu so let’s pray for health.
John & Cherie Perry:
Cherie’s mom has been sick for quite awhile with cancer. Cherie had to call the ambulance today to take her mom to the hospital. Let’s lift up her mom and the Perry family in prayer for peace at this hard time, but praise knowing that when her time is near she has a place in heaven. Psalm 4:8 I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.
New Praise Team:
We are looking for another praise team to add as only have 2 right now. So we are asking for prayer that someone would heed the Lord’s call in this.
Praise:
Psalms 32: 7-11 7 You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. “Selah” 8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you. 9 Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you. 10 Many are the woes of the wicked, but the LORD’s unfailing love surrounds the man who trusts in him. 11 Rejoice in the LORD and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart!
Lord that we may always trust in you and go in the direction that You would have us go.
Psalm 106:1
Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.
